Only here Rubies Mines are found
The Mogok Valley in Upper Myanmar (Burmase) for centuries has become the main source of Ruby in the world. The region has produced some very fine Rubies, but in recent years some good rubies have been found there. In central Myanmar, the Mong Hsu region began producing rubies during the 1990s and quickly became the main ruby mining area in the world. The most recent ruby deposit found in Myanmar is in Namya (Namyazeik) located in the northern state of Kachin.
The Ruby Mine in Burmase is the best quality Ruby source in the world. Myanmar or Burmase has a very long history of ruby mines. The Mogok mining area has revealed mining equipment belonging to bronze and also the Stone Age. The rubies found here are described as pigeon blood because of their pure red color. There is another type of ruby produced here that is more pink than blood red and the color is very beautiful. This ruby has strong fluorescence and you will see an extra layer of color when exposed to ultraviolet light like sunlight. These rubies store their colors under any light and that's where their reputation lies. Dear manners.

The most recently discovered mining area in Burma is called Mong Hsu. This deposit produces commercial quality rubies in commercial quantities which include large amounts of fine Burmese rubies and their size also rises to rust. Trade and trade in small villages in Tachilek has developed because of this ruby gold mine. The most important ruby trade center in the world is Thailand. Mae Sai is a place very close to Tachilek and is now inhabited by traders and cutters who send most of the findings to Thailand.
Vietnamese Ruby
1992 saw the discovery of ruby mines in Vietnam. The quality of rubies produced here is similar to Burmese mines. Geologically, the vein may be a continuation of that in Burma.
Ruby was also found elsewhere
Ruby found in Thailand has a slightly darker red color that moves more towards burgundy than pink. There are a variety of Thai Ruby that have black reflections known as extinctions that make the appearance of red darker than they are. This gives Burmese gems for their money. On the other hand, Sri Lankan rubies are pink or even in pastel colors. Gem mining in Sri Lanka mainly comes from secondary alluvial deposits found in river gravel. Mine holes are dug by hand to access gravel.
In the 1960s the world was shocked when rubies and sapphires were found in Kenya and Tanzania and this was more because their colors rivaled the best in the world. But unfortunately, the rubies found here are handicapped with small inclusions that greatly reduce their transparency. On the other hand, rubies from African mines have extraordinary colors but are not transparent enough to give the impression. When cutting the cabochon style, the color is displayed as well as possible.
On rare occasions, rubies from Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Pamir mountains find their way to the market but mining here is very difficult because the terrain is not friendly.
Historically, Ruby has also been mined in Thailand, in the Pailin and Samlout Districts in Cambodia, and in Afghanistan, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, India, Namibia, Japan, and Scotland; After the Second World War ruby deposit was found in Madagascar, Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Tanzania and Vietnam. In Sri Lanka, lighter shades of rubies (often "pink sapphires") are found more. The Republic of Macedonia is the only country in mainland Europe that has natural Rubies. They can be found mainly around the city of Prilep. Macedonian Ruby has a unique raspberry color. This ruby is also included in Coed of Arms from Macedonia. Some rubies have been found in the U.S. state. in Montana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wyoming.
